Vikings!

It’s Dondie’s 29th Birthday last Jan9, and so we went to Vikings to celebrate. They have this promo na you get to eat for free on your birthday! You just need to bring along with you a full-paying adult, and that’s me! I made a reservation  3 days before. Dinner starts at 5.30pm and holding time for reserved slots is until 7pm only! After that, they will give the slots to the walk in guests. At maraming walk-in. It’s a wednesday pero punong puno yung place.

We had fun! Malakas kasi talaga kami kumain hehe. At hindi ko man lang naalala na mag picture ng food! Hehe. We arrived there around 630pm. At medyo na-sad lang ako kasi wala ng crab kahit ang aga pa nun!!! At hindi na nag refill. 😦 I enjoyed the steak, shrimp and dimsum (I love hakaw and siomai and chicken feet!), at maraming maraming grilled seafood, at syempre yung desert. 🙂 There is also a group of staffs going around to sing birthday song sa mga celebrants, with a mini birthday cake. 🙂 I find it cute Hehe. About the taste of food, I say nothing special. Ang weird lang kasi nakaka overwhelmed yung food, hindi ko na alam kung ano ang kakainin, so ang ending parang hindi ko ma recall ang lasa ng mga kinain ko! Overall, it was a super nice experience. I would definitely go back. 🙂

My P&G Global Reasoning Test & Unilever Application Experience

I had my Global Reasoning Test yesterday at P&G Office, Petron Megaplaza after passing my online assessment. Ang masasabi ko lang, hindi nya madali! P&G indeed  only hires the best of the best, and I guess (medyo) hindi ako kasama dun! Hehe orrr not yet, next year I’ll try ulit.  Plus, siguro, hindi na rin ako sanay mag exam! HAHA at nasstress ako! Sa makati kasi yun, so ang exam ko supposedly ay 10am. I’m parked in one of the side streets sa Makati and max 3 hours lang pwede magpark dun! I was there 8.54am so hanggang 11.54am lang ako dapat sa parking kung hindi ittow ang walang kamalay malay na kotse. Ang ending, natapos ko naman ang exam, pero hindi ko na nareview. I did not realize, oo nga pala, 10am plus exam briefing pa, plus short orientation, so around 10.40am na kami nag start ng exam per se. It’s a 40-item exam (3 sections) for 65 minutes. So after exam ko, I was not able to review my answers, at nagpaalam ako sa proctor that I need to go na. E di ayun. FAILED! Hay. Not meant, I guess. (They emailed the result in the afternoon).

That afternoon, I had a panel interview at Unilever for a Customer Development position. Nakakakaba. To be honest, I don’t know if I did good or not. My qualifications fit the position, pero I think they prefer someone who is willing to be relocated (Visayas, etc.), and I told them honestly medyo hindi ako willing. Oh well. I’m hoping pa din to get in. By the way, they will be getting 3 individuals for the same position, so hopefully, i get in.

Job hunting is difficult! Pero mas mahirap pala to build a future career and build a path getting there. Hay. Need to wait for few more days to get the result. Fingers crossed.

One More Try (Grrrrr!)

Well, yes. I watched it with Di, and some friends. And seriously, uminit ang ulo pagkatapos panoorin. Not that it’s so disappointing (in fact Angelica’s acting is good. 🙂 ), it’s just that, it’s unrealistic at so many points, in my opinion.

Hay. Uminit ulo kay Ding-dong! Bakit hindi nagalit si Angelica sa kanya kahit nagcheat sya! Unconditional love?? E heller, hindi man lang sya nagsorry. Kainis lang. Affected lang ako sa story, kaya lalo akong nainis. Hay. Ganun talaga ka understanding dapat ang mga wife?? Kaloka. Pinatawag agad agad?? Wala lang. Ako lang ang nagagalit kay Ding-dong para sa kanya. Angel’s character, medyo mapapatawad ko pa kasi nanay sya. Zanjoe’s? Hmm.. Ok lang. Pero ang martir din! Hindi masyado makatotohanan! Hay. Na-stress ako! Hay. Pero still, I recommend it. Baka medyo mababaw ako kaya ganun ang take ko sa kanya!

what am i looking forward to this year??

I tell you, for some reason, I am feeling super excited right now, I don’t want to sleep yet. Anyway, here are the things that make me uber excited this 2013.

1. my 28th birthday – yep i’m getting old, but getting happier and contented.

2. our 5th year anniversary as bf and gf

3. our wedding ❤ , and us moving in our own space

4. our first christmas together

5. (possibility) of a new job in a new company (which i’m praying is better)

6. studying pattern-making, or dress-making, and baking!

7. my parents’ birthday

8. gown fitting & wedding preps

9. getting pregnant? Haha.

There. I think I need to eat something to calm my nerves. Happy 2013 everyone. Hugs!
